How to Measure for Custom Booties:
You’ll need help from another person to trace
your foot while you’re standing straight. I recommend you
print this document twice, and use the back side of one page for
each foot: left & right.
1)
Stand barefooted on a piece of paper larger than your foot, placed
on a flat, hard surface (not cushioned or carpeted). Stand straight
up with your weight on that foot.
2)
Have another person trace the outline of your foot onto the paper.
Be sure to hold the pen or pencil perpendicular to the floor, and
trace as close as possible around the foot.

Slip a tape measure under the widest part of the foot so that it’s
sticking out at the ball of the foot on one side. Again, with your
weight on that foot, measure the circumference of the foot with the
tape measure. Make a mark on the paper where the tape measure
crosses the outline of the foot (both sides), and write the
circumference on the paper, next to one of these marks.

Now slide the tape measure back to the instep of the foot
(the highest place on your foot) and measure the circumference in
the same way, so that the tape goes under the arch and over the
instep of the foot. Make a mark on the paper on both sides where
the tape crosses the outline, and write down the circumference you
measured, next to one of these marks.
5)
Measure the circumference of the ankle at the smallest point.
Don’t worry, the bootie will be looser than this measurement, so
there will be room to get your foot through the ankle area. You can

Decide how tall you want the bootie shaft, measuring up from
the floor. Write down the height. You can write it

7)
Measure up from the floor to the height you selected, and
measure the circumference of the calf at that point. You can write

8)
Select the color and thickness of neoprene for the sides of
the booties. You can write it here______________________
9)
Select the color of the sole, if you want a hard-sole bootie.

10)
Select whether you want zippers on the inside of the bootie

11)
