Terrapin Mini Hoods
At Terrapin, we believe "custom" means you can pick the colors you want in your dive gear. The mini-hoods can be purchased from standard colors or made to your custom color choices. The standard colors are shown below, but if you'd like custom color combination or style, we'll do our best to accommodate you. In all cases, please select carefully, as these custom-made accessories cannot be exchanged or returned.
A note about fastening your minihood... Our standard fastening method is by a 1" web strap cinched through double D rings on the right side below the ear. That keeps the strap out of the way of your snorkel. We avoid Velcro closures because they don't offer enough fit adjustability and tend to eat their way through everything else in your dive bag. However, if you want a different closure method than our standard, please contact us to discuss it before you place your order. We can usually accommodate most requests
About Custom Colors: Available colors are shown on http://www.TerrapinWetsuits.com/materials.html
There are two steps to ordering a custom color for your item:
1) Select Custom Colors from the drop down menu before you Add to Cart (that makes a flag on your order that tells me to look for other instructions)
2) When you get to the PayPal check out page, look for the box in which you can add Instructions to the Seller. Write the colors you want to substitute there. For example on the Princess Crown minihood you might want to write "Substitute Purple for the Silver Crown", etc...

Cold Water Hoods
Cold Water Hood Upgrade: $17.00
Cold Water hoods have full neck and shoulder coverage. Sizing is the same as the mini-hoods, and all the same embellishments are available. Plain cold water hoods are $64 and embellished ones are $74.
If you want a cold water hood instead of a mini-hood, check this box and the $14 difference in price will be added to your order. You also need to check the Mini hood box above, selecting the style/colors you want. If you select 5 mm on the coldwater upgrade, it will over-ride the thickness choice on the mini hood selection.

Baffle-top Plain dry-suit hood $67.00
Dry suit hoods have full neck and NO shoulder coverage. 1.5" around face is made with N1 skin-in Neoprene for face seal. 1.5" at base of neck is also N1 neoprene, and can be made with skin-in (standard) or skin-out (shown), to mate with your particular dry suit neck seal. Top is made of 2 layers of 3 mm neoprene with offset holes to baffle the path of venting bubbles.
Sizing is the same as the mini-hoods, See our website for colors available in the various thicknesses. For color other than black or neck seal other than skin-in, please email Chris@TerrapinWetsuits.com and let us know. This hood is also available in 7 mm, at a slightly higher price. Contact us to special order 7 mm.
Add a Top Embellishment $10.00

We can add an (extra) Top Embellishment to many of our custom hoods, but we don't add them to other manufacturer's products. Here's how to order: 1) First select the style and size of your new hood and Add to Cart. 2) Next select the style of top Embellishment and type in the box to the left. 3) Next select the Topper's color and type in the box to the left below, and Add to Cart. Other Accessories
Headbands
Ear-covering headband will hold back bangs and cover ears to reduce water exchange. Great for underwater photo models, allowing free-floating hair, and for those who find the Minihoods a bit too warm.
Adjustable Headband $24.00
Ear-covering headband will hold back bangs and cover ears to reduce water exchange. Like the one above, but with adjustable cording underneath the edge binding, so you can really snug it tight if you want. Asked-for by barefoot skiers!
Computer-Holding Arm Gauntlet
Zip-Closed Gauntlet $48.00
5 mm neoprene arm guard, with zipper to make donning easy and hold gauntlet securely in place. Has 5/8" wide web straps down the sides (like belt loops) to hold up to two (2) wrist mount computers in place without rotating or sliding down the arm.

Camera Lens Port Covers are made with plush-lined 5 mm neoprene on the front and stretchy 3 mm neoprene on the sides. They have a back "lip" that tapers to curve behind the back of the port and are finished with stretchy elastic edge binding to make it easy to get on and off, but still hold in place. There is a 3" long elastic cord loop to allow you to secure the cover to either the bracket or clip into a pocket when not on the housing.

Standard-sized booties with 8" rise and 5" zippers on the inside ankle. Zippers are sewn on the outside of the bootie, with neoprene underneath them to protect from grabbing hair or diveskins.
